The Course

There are nine parts to the course, each with a video, notes and exercises. You can work through the parts at your own pace. Click Part 1: Introduction below to start. At any point you can register to access additional materials, discussion groups, free tuition and a completion certificate. Registration is free.

The nine parts correspond to the chapters of the Routledge textbook Ecolinguistics: language, ecology and the stories we live by. After the introduction, each part explores one of the types of story described in the book:  ideologies, metaphors, framings, evaluations, identities, convictions, erasure and salience.
